Given the volume this tank would hold I decided it best be baffeled internally to reduce sloshing duringbraking and cornering.

The front section of the VW tank was so rusted it had to be replaced and a new piece secioned in.

After spending many hours getting the back corneres of the tanks to mate smoothly I discovered the tank would not gointo the car because of the braces on the chassis. Te tank had to be notched out on both sides in order to fit.

All the seems were filled with lead and smoothed over with metalic filler.
